TODD McGOWAN - DRUMS

I started playing drums at age four and guitar by age ten. My parents were musicians in a traveling gospel group, so I was always surrounded by music, and that was a huge influence on me. I was in my first band at age thirteen and music has been a way of life for me since then. By the age of 19, I was opening shows for Gregg Allman, Blackfoot, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Foghat and many other regional acts up and down the east coast. I have met some great people along the way. My passion has always revolved around music, whether it be recording sessions, live performances or sound engineering, it all remains exciting to this very day. In many ways, music has made me strive to be a better person. It has taught me to work well with other musicians, learning from and appreciating different genres of music.

My influences can be heard in all that I play. From Led Zeppelin, KISS, Black Sabbath, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles and too many others to name, they all influenced me musically. I love playing music and hopefully it shows each time I get the opportunity!
